- Standard tolerance: Mill (for stock material), +/ – 1/8”, Cut to size, or according to specifics.
- Style: standard ¾ #9 flattened expanded metal, other styles available.

- Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant flattened expanded metal can be purchased in stock sheets or can be cut to size and custom formed in order to meet specific project requirements.
- Durability: Aluminum expanded metal coated with SlipNOT® has a bond strength of 2,000 psi. If coated with steel or stainless steel expanded metal has a minimum bond strength of 4,000 psi.
- Finishes: Aluminum expanded metal can be ordered in mill finish or painted.
- Fabrication: Aluminum flattened expanded metal can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. (Fabricating Instructions)
- Retrofitting: The simplest way of retrofitting existing grating is by tack-welding this product directly over the area.
- Slip Resistant Standards: Flattened expanded metal exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved.
