SlipNOT^® frequently replaces dangerous steel checker plate assemblies, particularly in the steel mill industry.  Due to the constantly slippery, oily environment present in steel mills, a durable slip resistant flooring is required to keep workers safe.  Jason Roche, repair coordinator of Nucor Steel said, “SlipNOT^® works a lot better, other products we used in the past have broken down or are not slip resistant”.  His plant previously had steel checker plate, as do many other steel mills.  When asked why the diamond plate was not working well for Nucor he replied, “It was slippery, we have an oil mist that can cover everything”.
