The Situation:

The Campbell Soup Company had been struggling with maintaining grip on the existing floor scales where lift trucks bring drums, kettles and ingredients to be weighed before being distributed into the proper mixing pots throughout the processing facility.

The Solution:

SlipNOT® has been working with Campbell Soup facilities nationwide for many years for various applications that required non-slip solutions such as platforms, stairways and mezzanines, among many others.  In addition, SlipNOT® has proven to be an essential component for Campbell Soup floor scales as well.

The floor scales sit flush within the floor and provide accurate readings and weights of ingredients prior to being dispersed to the correct mixing pots or areas.  Lift trucks and carts were struggling with maintaining grip and traction because of the oils, greases and ingredients that were spilling onto the covers for the floor scales.

Campbell Soup has been sending their slippery covers for the existing floor scales to SlipNOT® to receive a slip resistant stainless steel coating.  The covers for the stainless steel floor scales are 1/8” x 60” x 60”.  Campbell Soup sends the floor scale covers two at a time to receive the 100% slip resistant Grade 2 Medium SlipNOT® treatment.

The Impact:

Campbell Soup floor scales have completely been transformed because of the SlipNOT® slip resistant coating applied to the covers.   The floor scales are no longer slippery and the struggles with grip and traction have been eliminated all together.
