The Situation:

Exxon Mobil Corporation is an international oil and gas company headquartered in Irving, TX.  Exxon Mobil has one of the largest oil refineries in the world and distributes its oil through the brand names Exxon, Esso and Mobil.  Exxon Mobil focuses on providing consumers with a quality product while working to improve technology, safety and the communities surrounding the company.  Exxon Mobil supports women’s economic opportunity, math and science studies at schools and malaria research.  At an Exxon Mobil lubricant plant located in Paulsboro, NJ, flooring in areas of the plant could often become slippery.  SlipNOT^® Metal Safety Flooring was contacted by Exxon Mobil to help provide a safe flooring solution.

The Solution:

SlipNOT^® supplied 3/16” x 48” x 96” steel plates painted black for the slippery flooring at the lubricant facility.  Steel plate provided the facility with an extremely durable flooring solution that will remain slip resistant with minimal maintenance.  Steel plate is also an extremely abrasive material and will remain slip resistant when covered in oil, grease and lubricants.  Steel plate was ideal for the high level traffic industrial area where there is heavy machinery, extreme heat, oil and grease.

The Impact:

SlipNOT^® steel plate provided Exxon Mobil’s lubricant facility with a long lasting slip resistant solution.  The steel plate is durable against oil and grease with minimal maintenance.  SlipNOT^® steel plate helped Exxon Mobil to continue to provide workers with safety at their facility.
