The Situation:

The Campbell Soup - Napoleon plant needed to upgrade one of their several catwalks to be safe with non-slip flooring.  Campbell Soup Napoleon manufactures heat processed canned ingredients such as juices, soups, sauces and dressings among other products, causing constant slippery and dangerous walking surfaces.  Campbell Soup frequently contacts a full-service mechanical contractor in order to implement non-slip flooring by SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring into all of their projects.

The Solution:

The full-service mechanical contractor contacted SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring for custom fabricated 1/4” galvanized steel non-slip flooring plates for the access catwalk at Campbell Soup’s food processing facility in Napoleon Ohio.

SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring received detailed print specifications from the contractor for the non-slip flooring portion of the catwalk.  SlipNOT® then proceeded to custom fabricate the access catwalk consisting of eleven (11) pieces of 1/4“; cut to size steel plates.  After the custom cut-to-size non-slip flooring pieces were fabricated, they were then coated with SlipNOT® ‘s durable, file hard slip resistant steel Grade 2 surface and then hot dip galvanized for corrosion resistance and longevity.
