Product Features:
- Advantages: SlipNOT® galvanized steel handrails replace traditional and often extremely slick railings with a high-friction surface, greatly reducing slip and fall liabilities.
- Availability: Handrails are sold in stock sizes only.
- Care: The most effective cleaning method is to clean with a steam cleaner or power washer. Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush.
- Durability: Handrails have a file hard surface of over 55 on the Rockwell “C” scale, and a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.
- Fabrication: Handrails can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. When fabricating our product it can be treated like any other metal product. (Fabricating Instructions)
- Slip Resistant Standards: Handrails exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved.
