SLIPNOT Metal Safety Flooring provides high traction non-slip perforated metal utilized in industries such as manufacturing and automotive, food and beverage, oil and gas and infrastructure. Perforated metal is utilized for applications including but not limited to stair treads, flooring, trench covers, bicycle safe lanes and others.
SLIPNOT is an all metal plasma stream deposition process applied to perforated plate that creates a file hard surface of peaks and valleys in a random cross hatched matrix. The SLIPNOT surface has a coefficient of friction that is greater than or equal to 0.85 and exceeds all agency recommendations. For applications that require the drainage of grating but the shoe to surface contact of plate, perforated metal is the optimal solution.
How to order perforated metal:
- Select a material
- Steel, stainless steel or aluminum
- Choose a finish:
- Mill finish, painted finish or steel can be hot dipped galvanized for protection against corrosion.
- SLIPNOT perforated metals are available in three different grades:
- Grade 1 (Fine): Grade 1 is used in light duty applications or areas where minimum surface roughness is desired.
- Grade 2 (Medium): Grade 2 is used in nearly every situation.
- Grade 3 (Coarse): Grade 3 is used in the most demanding environments. Provides the maximum durability and longevity. Grade 3 is only offered in our steel SLIPNOT surface. Not available in aluminum and stainless steel surfaces.
