Industrial Grating

Slip resistant industrial grating is extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of environments.

Industrial grating can be classified into two main categories: heavy duty industrial grating or light duty industrial grating.

  • Heavy duty industrial grating can hold large amounts of weight due to its thick and deep bearing bars.  It can support heavy vehicular traffic and large rolling loads.  It is commonly used on air fields, industrial floors, ramps, docks, reinforced concrete areas, bridges and highways, among others.
  • Light duty industrial grating is more commonly used throughout facilities in areas such as conveyor systems, walkways, machinery floors and stairways.  It does not need to hold as much weight as heavy duty industrial flooring and may be easier to transport.

No matter which type of industrial grating is needed, making sure that the surface is safe for vehicles, pedestrians, bicyclists, and workers is extremely important.  SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring can coat any style of industrial grating with a high traction, all metal non-slip surface.  Due to its available surfaces of steel, stainless steel and aluminum, SlipNOT®  industrial grating can be used in situations that require heavy duty or light duty industrial grating.

SlipNOT® can custom fabricate industrial grating to job specific sizes for easy installation.  SlipNOT® industrial grating can also be purchased in stock sized grates and can be cut in the field.  If industrial grating is already in use and fabricated, it can be shipped to SlipNOT®  for the coating process.  Retrofitting slip resistant SlipNOT® expanded metal over industrial grating is also an option if replacing or resurfacing existing industrial grating is not an option.  SlipNOT® expanded metal makes any industrial grating instantly slip resistant without compromising air flow or drainage.

SlipNOT®  industrial grating can be purchased directly from SlipNOT®  Metal Safety Flooring or through Ohio Gratings.  If purchasing through Ohio Gratings, a SlipNOT®  surface must be specified.
