SlipNOT® brings safety to perforated steel. SlipNOT® slip resistant perforated steel far exceeds the OSHA and ADA standards for slip resistant surfaces. Also, the SlipNOT® surface coefficient of friction (COF) far exceeds current or proposed requirements of ASTM, NFPA and UL.
SlipNOT® perforated steel combines the drainage advantages of bar grating and the characteristics of a solid surface of plate. SlipNOT® slip resistant perforated steel is not only ergonomic, but ideal for wet or oily areas.
Available patterns of SlipNOT® perforated plate:
- 1/4″ diameter on 3/8″ staggered centers
- 3/8″ diameter on 9/16″ centers (Minimal hole pattern for galvanized steel)
- 1/2″ diameter on 11/16″ centers
- 9/16″ diameter on 3/4″ centers
- A wide variety of options available
- Note: Perforation removes about 2/3 of the strength from the plate. Additional supports may be required.
SlipNOT® perforated plate provides a high friction and low opening surface for bicycle friendly lanes. SlipNOT® high traction perforated plate outperforms dangerously-slick plain bar grating, serrated grating and diamond plate. SlipNOT® perforated steel can be easily retrofitted over existing grating to incorporate safety into any project.

SlipNOT® perforated steel is available in steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
SlipNOT® perforated steel is also available in thickness from 1/8″ on up with widths of 4′, 5′ or 6′, and lengths of 8′, 10′ and 12′. SlipNOT® perforated steel can also be manufactured and fabricated to detail print specifications. Finishes include mill, galvanized, painted or customized.
