Dangerous diamond floor plate is used in many different industries in numerous applications. Replace slippery diamond floor plate with SlipNOT® slip-resistant floor plating. Traditional Diamond Floor Plates continually fail to meet slip-resistant standards. Unlike Diamond Floor Plate, SlipNOT® floor plates exceed all ADA and OSHA recommendations for slip resistance and is NSF registered for use in the food processing industry. While adding the SlipNOT® surface to existing Diamond Floor Plate is an option, using SlipNOT® floor plating is less costly, safer and longer lasting.
SlipNOT® slip-resistant floor plating is an economical alternative for diamond floor plate and is available in mild carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel and aluminum plate. Commonly used for decks, catwalks, trench covers, and dock boards, SlipNOT® slip-resistant floor plating provides traction in all directions.
For existing diamond plate floor surfaces, SlipNOT® Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® and Perforated Plate are an easy solution for retrofitting over slippery diamond plate conditions. SlipNOT® Perforated Floor Plates allow water, chemicals and other liquids to flow through, while providing workers with maximum protection. Like all SlipNOT® metal safety floor materials, Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® and SlipNOT® Perforated Plates can be welded to existing diamond plate structures or bolted in place for years of safety. Whether replacing dangerous diamond plate or retrofitting to diamond plate construction, SlipNOT® products are the one time answer to dangerous conditions that are created by traditional diamond plate.
SlipNOT® stock plating is available in a variety of thickness from 1/8" on up with widths of 4', 5' or 6' and lengths of 8', 10' and 12'. Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® and Perforated Plate can also be ordered cut or fabricated to sizes/shapes required. Surface grades for metal plates are grade 1 (fine), grade 2 (medium) and grade 3 (coarse, only offered on Steel SlipNOT® surface). Tested and durable, SlipNOT®’s plate builds safety into new projects where diamond plate would fall short. The steel SlipNOT® surface can also be applied to aluminum plates for a durable yet lightweight alternative not available in diamond plating. SlipNOT® stainless steel surface can be applied to aluminum base materials for a lightweight, lower cost alternative to stainless steel on stainless steel, another quality not available in diamond plate.
Ford, General Motors and Daimler Chrysler keep workers on their feet by using SlipNOT® Expanded Metal-Grid Grip® on their conveyor lines rather than traditional diamond plating.
Numerous utility companies including AT&T, PG&E, Verizon, and MCI among others have used SlipNOT® plating as sidewalk plates and underground vault covers rather than slippery diamond plating.
