Slip-Resistant Floor Plates

SlipNOT® slip-resistant floor plates are available in a variety of thickness from 1/8" on up with widths of 4', 5' or 6' and lengths of 8', 10' and 12'. SlipNOT® floor plates far exceed ADA and OSHA requirements for slip resistance. Tested and durable, SlipNOT® floor plate builds safety into any new or existing project. SlipNOT® floor plate is used for ADA ramps, pit covers, machine platforms, stair treads, bridge decking, walkways, catwalks, access hatch cover and many other floor plate applications.

SlipNOT®‘s slip-resistant floor plates are available in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and galvanized steel. The steel SlipNOT® surface can also be applied to aluminum floor plates for a durable yet lightweight alternative. Our floor plate can be ordered in stock sizes or fabricated to sizes/shapes required. Surface grades for a metal floor plate is fine, medium and coarse. SlipNOT® stainless steel surface can be applied to aluminum base materials for a lightweight, lower cost alternative for stainless steel plates.

Ford, General Motors and Daimler Chrysler keep workers on their feet by using SlipNOT® non slip floor plate on their conveyor lines. SlipNOT® floor plates have also been used on ships as interior and exterior decking. The military bolts our steel non slip floor plate over maintenance areas on tarmac.

Floor Plate Products & Features:

• Customized shapes and sizes can be fabricated to meet job specifications.
• Available Surface: Steel, Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Galvanized Steel in Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.) (Grade 3 Coarse, only offered on Steel SlipNOT® surface.)
• Availability: Stock sizes or can be cut to size and custom formed to meet specific project requirements.
• Care: The most effective cleaning method is with a steam cleaner or power washer. Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush. SlipNOT® recommends testing any chemical cleaning agent on a sample provided by SlipNOT® to verify that it is safe to use.
• Fabrication: Sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. When fabricating or working with our product it can be treated like any other metal grating.
• Standards: Exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT® coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved.
