Ladder Rung Covers
SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers are ideal for refurbishing old, slippery ladders. They fit over dangerous existing ladder rungs creating a safe climbing experience. SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers far exceed all ADA and OSHA recommendations for slip resistant products.
Aluminum Ladder Rung Covers:
- Available thickness: 1/8”
- Available width: 1” or 1 ¼” to fit over ¾” or 1” diameter ladder rungs.
- Available stock length: 144” (11’-13’ random)
- Customized sizes are available up to 144"
- Available in: Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.)
- Tolerance: Mill (144") or +/- 1/8"
Features:
- Application: Designed for the modernization and restoration of worn and slippery ladder rungs by simply fitting channel-rung covers to existing and welding them into place. All SlipNOT® products are NSF registered.
- Availability: Can be purchased in stock sizes or can be cut to size in order to meet specific project requirements.
- Care: Have no adverse affects if exposed to weather when coated with aluminum and stainless. Coated with steel SlipNOT® should be galvanized or coated with a corrosion resistant paint.
- Durability: Proved extremely durable in very adverse conditions such as Mills, Auto Plants, Oil Rigs, Oil Refineries, and many other locations. Bond strength of 2000 psi. If coated with steel or stainless, minimum bond strength of 4,000 psi.
- Fabrication: Can be cut by any means required, torched, sawed, sheared, etc. (Fabricating Specifics)
- Finishes: Can be ordered with a mill finish or can be painted.
- Standards: Exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA (OSHA standard # 1926.1053 (a) (6) (i)). SlipNOT® ’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved. SlipNOT® is applied only to the topside.
