Steel Floor Plate

SlipNOT® steel floor plates are available in a variety of thicknesses from 1/8" on up with widths of 4', 5' or 6' and lengths of 8', 10' and 12'. Slip resistant steel floor plates can also be ordered cut or fabricated to any size or shape required. SlipNOT® steel floor plates far exceed ADA and OSHA requirements for slip resistance. The steel SlipNOT® surface can also be applied to aluminum plates for a durable yet lightweight alternative. Tested and durable, SlipNOT® steel floor plate builds safety into any new project.

Steel Floor Plate Products & Features:

• Customized steel floor plates can order in different shapes and sizes to meet job specifications.
• Advantages: Road plates do not wear smooth or flake off after years of high traffice use. SlipNOT® road plates are ideal in areas where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increases the risk of accidents and potential public access liability problems.
• Available surfaces: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Steel.
• Steel Floor Plate available in Grade 3 Coarse, only offered on Steel SlipNOT® surface.
• Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant steel floor plates can be purchased in stock sheets or can be cut to size and custom formed in order to meet specific project requirements.
• Care: The most effective steel floor plate cleaning method is with a steam cleaner or power washer. Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush. SlipNOT® recommends testing any chemical cleaning agent on a sample steel floor plate provided by SlipNOT® to verify that it is safe to use on the SlipNOT® surface.
• Fabrication: steel floor plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. When fabricating or working with our steel floor plate, it can be treated like any other metal plate or grating. (Fabricating Specifics)
• Slip Resistant Standards: Road plates exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved. (See Standards and Test Requirements).
