Product Features:

  • Advantages:  SlipNOT® slip resistant stainless steel plate is the most chemically resistant product SlipNOT® offers.  Stainless steel plate is approved by NSF International and can be used in food processing environments.  SlipNOT® stainless steel plate provides a permanently safe replacement for slippery stainless steel diamond plate.
  • Availability:  SlipNOT® slip resistant stainless steel plate can be purchased in stock sheets or can be cut to size and custom formed in order to meet specific project requirements.
  • Care:  The most effective cleaning method is with a steam cleaner or power washer. Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush.  If cleaning is a concern, we recommend Grade 1. It is less aggressive, yet it retains the same slip resistant characteristics of our more aggressive Grade 2.  SlipNOT® recommends testing any chemical cleaning agent on a sample provided by SlipNOT® to verify that it is safe to use on the SlipNOT® surface.
  • Durability:  Stainless steel plate has a file hard surfac between 55-63 on the Rockwell “C” scale and has a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
  • Fabrication:  Stainless steel plate can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, and drilled for complete versatility, both in the shop and field.  When fabricating or working with our product it can be treated like any other metal plate or grating. • Food Processing:  SlipNOT® stainless steel products are approved by NSF International and are currently used in food processing plants, cheese plants, poultry processors and beverage plants, among others.  Non-slip products are 100% grit free.  They will not contaminate the food processing machines nor will they contaminate the end product.  To see our company listing on the NSF website, click here.
  • Slip Resistant Standards:  Stainless steel plate meets and exceeds all the requirements for an ASTM / ANSI slip resistant surface and is registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL410 standard.  SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.
