• Advantages: Aluminum grating stair treads are ideal for lightweight applications where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increase the risk for a slip and fall accident.  Treads are suitable for new construction or replacing existing treads..
• Availability: Aluminum grating stair treads are available in many different styles and spacing options to meet a variety of needs and applications.
• Durability: Aluminum grating stair treads coated with aluminum SlipNOT® have a bond strength of 2,000 psi. If coated with steel or stainless steel SlipNOT®, treads have a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
• Application: Non-slip aluminum grating stair treads can be welded directly onto stringers or can be bolted in place.  Mid-point and top formed landings are also available.
• Slip Resistant Standards: SlipNOT® aluminum grating stair treads meet and exceed all the requirements for an ASTM / ANSI slip resistant surface and are registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL 410 standard.  SlipNOT® coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.
