SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers are commonly used in lightweight applications.  They are designed to fit comfortably over existing slippery ladder rungs, creating a slip resistant climbing surface.  Aluminum ladder rung covers far exceed all ADA and OSHA recommendations for slip resistance, especially in environments where corrosion resistance is vital.

• Aluminum ladder rung cover widths: 1” to fit over ¾” diameter rungs or 1 ¼” to fit over 1”diameter rungs
• Aluminum ladder rung cover length: 12’
• Aluminum ladder rung covers can be custom fabricated to meet job specifications

• LEED: The recycled content of SlipNOT® products varies depending on the source of the substrate.  However, based off of an average provided by the mills and vendors we use most often, SlipNOT® products have a minimum of 40% recycled content and up to 83% recycled content. Product Features:

• Application: SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers provide a corrosion resistant, slip resistant surface that is ideal for lightweight applications.  Non-slip aluminum ladder rung covers can be simply retrofitted over existing rungs and welded into place, thus providing a permanently safe walking surface.
• Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant aluminum ladder rung covers can be purchased in stock sizes or can be cut to size in order to meet specific project requirements.
• Care: Aluminum ladder rung covers have no adverse affects if exposed to weather when coated with a SlipNOT® aluminum or stainless coating.  If the ladder rung covers are coated with steel SlipNOT®, they should be galvanized or coated with a corrosion resistant paint.
• Durability: SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers are proven extremely durable in very adverse conditions such as water treatment plants, oil rigs and oil refineries, among many other locations.  Aluminum ladder rung covers coated with aluminum SlipNOT® have a bond strength of at least 2,000 psi.  If coated with steel or stainless SlipNOT® aluminum ladder rung covers have a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
• Fabrication: Aluminum ladder rung covers can be flame cut or cut with any standard band saw, chop saw or other means.  The surface can be welded and there is no need to grind the ends for assembly.  Rung covers can be fixed to the existing ladder rungs and then painted or galvanized as needed. • Standards: Aluminum ladder rung covers meet and exceed all the requirements for an ASTM / ANSI slip resistant surface and is registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL 410 standard.  SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.  SlipNOT® is applied only to the topside of the rung cover.  (Standards and Test Results)
