• Application: SlipNOT® galvanized steel ladder rung covers are an ideal slip resistant solution in areas where corrosion resistance is vital.  Non-slip galvanized ladder rung covers are constructed to restore worn slippery ladder rungs by simply retrofitting the channel rung covers over existing rungs and welding them into place.  The welds should be painted or galvanized to protect against corrosion. • Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant galvanized ladder rung covers can be purchased in stock sizes or can be cut to size in order to meet specific project requirements.
• Care: SlipNOT® galvanized steel ladder rung covers have no adverse affects if exposed to weather.
• Durability: Galvanized steel ladder rung covers have proved extremely durable in very adverse conditions such as steel mills, auto plants, oil rigs, oil refineries, among other locations.  Rung covers coated with galvanized steel SlipNOT® have a file hard surface between 55 – 63 on the Rockwell “C” scale and has a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
• Fabrication: Galvanized steel ladder rung covers can be flame cut or cut with any standard band saw, chop saw or other means.  The surface can be welded and there is no need to grind the ends for assembly.  Rung covers can be fixed to the existing ladder rungs and then painted or galvanized as needed. • Slip Resistant Standards: Galvanized steel ladder rung covers meet and exceed all the requirements for an ASTM / ANSI slip resistant surface and is registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL 410 standard.  SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.
