• Steel ladder rung cover widths: 1” to fit over ¾” diameter rungs or 1 ¼” to fit over 1”diameter rungs
• Steel ladder rung cover length: 10’
• Steel ladder rung covers can be custom fabricated to meet job specifications

• LEED: The recycled content of SlipNOT® products varies depending on the source of the substrate.  However, based off of an average provided by the mills and vendors we use most often, SlipNOT® products have a minimum of 40% recycled content and up to 83% recycled content. Product Features:

• Application: SlipNOT® steel ladder rung covers are designed for the modernization and restoration of worn and slippery ladder rungs by simply retrofitting over existing rungs and welding into place.  SlipNOT® non-slip steel ladder rung covers provide a permanently safe surface, even in harsh environments containing elements like grease and oil.
• Availability: SlipNOT® slip resistant steel ladder rung covers can be purchased in stock sizes or can be cut to size in order to meet specific project requirements.
• Care: If rung covers are to be exposed to the weather, some sort of coating treatment (either priming/painting or hot dip galvanizing) is required. (Guidelines for Galvanizing)
• Durability: Steel ladder rung covers have proved extremely durable in very adverse conditions such as steel mills, auto plants, oil rigs, oil refineries and many other locations. Steel rungs covers coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface between 55 – 63 on the Rockwell “C” scale with a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
• Fabrication: Steel ladder rung covers can be flame cut or cut with any standard band saw, chop saw or other means.  The surface can be welded and there is no need to grind the ends for assembly.  Rung covers can be fixed to the existing ladder rungs and then painted or galvanized as needed. • Slip Resistant Standards: Steel ladder rung covers meet and exceed all the requirements for an ASTM / ANSI slip resistant surface and is registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL 410 standard.  SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.  SlipNOT® is applied only to the topside of the rung cover.
