SlipNOT® perforated stainless combines the drainage benefits of grating with the solid surface of plate, while flexing to relieve worker fatigue.  SlipNOT® perforated stainless is ideal for refurbishing old slippery platforms, stair treads, and walkways.  SlipNOT^® perforated stainless is architecturally savvy, yet safe.  Perforated stainless is naturally chemical and corrosion resistant, producing a long service life and modern appearance.

Note: Perforation removes about 2/3 of the strength from the plate.  Additional supports may be required.

Product Features:

• Advantages: SlipNOT® non-slip perforated stainless plates are chemical and rust resistant.  Perforated stainless-Flex Grip^® easily retrofits over existing metal surfaces, such as grating.  Perforated stainless allows the passage of light, liquids and air, as well as providing a slip resistant durable surface.
• Availability: Perforated stainless Flex Grip® is available in various patterns or customized shapes and sizes to meet the requirements of any project.
• Care: The most effective cleaning method is with a steam cleaner or power washer.  Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush. SlipNOT® recommends testing any chemical cleaning agent on a sample provided by SlipNOT® to verify that it is safe to use on the SlipNOT® surface.  Organic based stains, such as grease or oil can be removed with standard organic solvents.  Some scrubbing may be required.
• Durability: Perforated stainless steel plate coated with stainless SlipNOT® has a file hard surface of between 55-63 on the Rockwell “C” scale and a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi.
• Environments: SlipNOT®’s non-slip stainless steel coated products test for microbiological and fungal matter the same as normal stainless steel products.  SlipNOT® premier products can withstand the extreme cold of cryogenics and heat of cookers and steamers, as well as daily washdowns and caustic cleaning agents.  Molten glass and metal milling facilities use SlipNOT®  because of its ability to withstand extreme temperature ranges.  Easy to install, SlipNOT® products create little installation down time.  SlipNOT® is a low maintenance, sanitary solution for slippery areas in bottling facilities, freezers, packaging and processing areas, platforms, catwalks, crossovers, and many others.
• Fabrication: Plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk and drilled for complete versatility both in the shop and field. (Fabricating Instructions)
• Food Processing: SlipNOT® stainless steel products are approved by NSF International for use in food processing facilities.
• Slip Resistant Standards: Perforated stainless meets and exceeds all the requirements for an ATSM / ANSI slip resistant surface and is registered slip resistant with Underwriters Laboratories per the UL 410 standard.  SlipNOT® coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.
