Product Features:

Advantages: Perforated treads combine the benefits of both plate and grating. It is ideal in areas where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increases the risk of accidents and potential public access liability problems. Perforated treads are suitable for new construction or retrofitting over existing grating areas.
Durability: Treads coated with SlipNOT^® have a file hard surface of over 55 Rc with a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.
Finishes: Aluminum perforated stairs tread can be ordered with a mill finish or painted.
Slip Resistant Standards: Perforated stair treads exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT^®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. (Standards and Test Requirements)
Fabrication: Treads can be formed to specifications with nosings or formed to a channel. Treads are manufactured to specifications for thickness and depth. (Fabricating Instructions)
Application: Treads can be welded directly onto current treads or stringers or can be bolted in place.
