How to Order SlipNOT® Perforated Metals

SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring provides high traction non-slip perforated metals used in industries such as manufacturing and automotive, food and beverage, oil and gas, industrial and the Government.  SlipNOT®’s surface coefficient of friction exceeds current and proposed requirements of OSHA, ADA, ASTM, NFPA and UL.  When specifying or purchasing perforated plate-Flex Grip® with the SlipNOT® surface, you must include the following:

  • Material: steel, stainless steel or aluminum
  • Finish:  SlipNOT® perforated metal is available in mill finish, painted finish or steel can be hot dipped galvanized for protection against corrosion.
  • Grade:  SlipNOT® perforated metals are available in three different grades:
    • Grade 1 (Fine): Grade 1 is used in light duty applications or areas where minimum surface roughness is desired.
    • Grade 2 (Medium): Grade 2 is used in nearly every situation.
    • Grade 3 (Coarse): Grade 3 is used in the most demanding environments. Provides the maximum durability and longevity. Grade 3 is only offered in our steel SlipNOT® surface. Not available in aluminum and stainless steel surfaces.
  • Quantity: The amount of perforated metal needed
  • Stock sizes: Stock perforated metals are available in 4’ x 10’ sheets
  • Custom sizes available  – specify length x width
    • Thickness: 1/8”, 3/16”. 1/4” or per specifications
  • Patterns: The following patterns are available for SlipNOT® perforated metals:
    • 1/4″ diameter on 3/8” staggered center
    • 3/8” diameter on 9/16” or 5/8” centers
    • 1/2” diameter on 11/16” centers
    • 9/16” diameter on 3/4” centers
  • Wide variety of options are available
  • Margins: Specify side and end margins (minimum, 1”, 2”, etc.)
    • Note: Actual margin sizes subject to tooling availability
  • Material Supplied:  You must specify if you will be providing the perforated metals (customer supplied) or if you will be using SlipNOT® supplied perforated metals
  • Additional fabrication options available (forming, shearing, cut to shape/pattern, etc.) Please specify or include in drawings.
