Steel Flooring

Non-slip steel flooring is used in a manufacturing facility to keep workers safe.

Steel Flooring comes in various forms and can be found in many different types of industries.  Steel grating can be found in entryways to retail stores and businesses or in plants that need stairs that allow for drainage, as well as many other places.  Steel plate can be found on bridges and areas in plants around machinery.  In these situations and many more where slip resistance and safety is required, you can count on SlipNOT® to keep you on your feet.

SlipNOT® Metal Safety Flooring provides a permanent solution to slippery steel flooring.  The patented SlipNOT® process deposits a stream of molten metal plasma onto metal substrates.  This creates a file hard surface between 55 – 63 on the Rockwell “C” scale that is bonded to the steel flooring at over 4,000 psi.  The SlipNOT® surface is completely grit-free and will not flake off like temporary taped-on and painted-on products.  SlipNOT® steel flooring is available in three textures: Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Medium) and Grade 3 (Course), and is available in the following finishes: mill, galvanized, painted or customized.

Non-slip steel grating and plate can be ordered in stock sizes or customized to fit job specifications.  Our steel flooring can also be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, and drilled for complete versatility in both the shop and the field.

SlipNOT® Steel flooring is used in the harshest environments and has continually proven its slip resistance in wet or oily conditions.  Slip resistant steel flooring is used in manufacturing plants, steel mills, and areas around printing presses.  Steel flooring is also used as road plates in large cities, such as Los Angeles and New York, where heavy traffic is a daily occurrence.  If SlipNOT® steel flooring is exposed to water or outdoor conditions it should be galvanized to protect it from corrosion.”

In these situations and many more where slip resistance and safety is required, a non-slip steel flooring product should be used.
