SlipNOT® grating stair treads provide a slip resistant solution for workers and pedestrians safe on dangerous stairways.

    • ADA: 7-2, 7-4, 11-2, 11-4
    • Standard industrial: 15-2, 15-4, 19-2, 19-4

  • Available SlipNOT® surface: Steel
  • Available in: Grade 1 (Fine), Grade 2 (Med.) or Grade 3 (Coarse).
  • Available in welded, press-locked, swaged lock or flush mount construction.
  • Available banded or with standard end plates.
  • Standard tolerance: +/-¼”

Product Features:

  • Advantages: Grating Treads are ideal in areas where frequent use or exposure to slippery environments increases the risk of accidents and potential public access liability problems. Grating Treads are suitable for new construction and for replacing worn or dangerous tread in existing areas.
  • Durability: Treads coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface of over 55 on the Rockwell "C" scale, and have a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.
  • Finishes: Steel grating tread can be ordered in a mill finish, painted, or can be hot dipped galvanized. (Guidelines for Galvanizing)
  • Slip Resistant Standards: Grating stair treads exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved. (Standards and Test Requirements)
  • Application: Treads can be welded directly into stringers or can be bolted in place.
