Slip Resistant Steel Ladders: Proven safety in every step

SlipNOT® components can turn a steel ladder into a slip resistant steel ladder and are a simple solution for dangerous existing and outdated ladders. SlipNOT® metal safety products can easily be implemented into the design of newly constructed ladders as well.

SlipNOT® components for slip resistant steel ladders consist of:

  • Round bar – ¾” or 1″
  • Square bar – ¾” or 1″
  • Channel /rung cover – 1″ x ½” x 1/8″ to fit over ¾” round bar or 1-1/4″ x ½” x 1/8″ to fit over 1″ round bar
  • Tubing – Hollow or solid, round or square

SlipNOT® elements for slip resistant steel ladders can be supplied in stock lengths of 10′ or supplied in customer specified lengths. Whether a channel/rung cover is retrofitted over an existing ladder or new slip resistant rungs are implemented into newly constructed ladder, both options will meet and exceed the OSHA standards: 1910.26(a)(1)(v) and 1926.1053(a)(6)(i).

SlipNOT® components for slip resistant steel ladders are the first step towards safety. They instantly provide a file hard surface of between 55-63 on the Rockwell “C” scale and a bond strength of at least 4,000 psi once integrated into the ladders.

In addition to the SlipNOT® components for steel ladders, components can be supplied in:

  • Stainless Steel
  • Aluminum
  • Galvanized Steel – Channel/rung covers only

SlipNOT® steel ladders have been used by a vast array of industries that range from steel mills to food processing facilities, heavy equipment manufacturers to the military and roof access to marine applications. SlipNOT® steel ladders have a broad range of applications and have proven to be an industry standard for slip resistance.
