- Durability: Nosings coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface over 55 on the Rockwell “C” scale and a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.

- Finishes: Steel nosings can be ordered with a mill finish, painted or hot dipped galvanized. (Guidelines for Galvanizing)
- Installation: Nosings can be bolted or embedded into concrete steps to create permanent safety. Nosings can be provided with countersunk holes or with anchors, such as J-hooks or Nelson studs, welded per your specifications. Grating tread nosings weld directly into tread assemblies.
- Slip Resistant Standards: Nosings exceeds all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved. (Standards and Test Requirements)
