Note: Perforation removes about 2/3 of the strength from the plate. Additional supports may be required.

- Advantages: SlipNOT® non-slip steel perforated plates have an unmatched surface hardness and a long life. Perforated plate easily retrofits over existing grating. Perforated plates combine the flow through advantages of grating and the solid surface of a plate. Plates flex when walked on to prevent worker fatigue. All SlipNOT® products are NSF registered.
- Availability: Plates are available in stock sizes or manufactured and fabricated to detailed print specifications.
- Care: The most effective cleaning method is with a steam cleaner or power washer. Debris can be removed with a stiff bristle brush. SlipNOT® recommends testing any chemical cleaning agent on a sample provided by SlipNOT® to verify that it is safe to use on the SlipNOT® surface.
- Durability: Perforated plates coated with SlipNOT® have a file hard surface of over 55 on the Rockwell “C” scale and a bond strength of over 4,000 psi.
- Fabrication: Plates can be sheared, welded, flame cut, torch cut, laser or water-jet cut, plasma cut, countersunk, drilled and punched for complete versatility both in the shop and field. (Fabricating Instructions)
- Finish: Plates can be ordered in mill finish, painted, or can be hot dipped galvanized. (Guidelines for Galvanizing) Plates that are galvanized may have may have internal strands between the holes from the hot dip galvanizing process.
- Slip Resistant Standards: Plates exceed all requirements for coefficient of friction specified by ANSI, ASTM, ADA, NFPA, and OSHA. SlipNOT®’s coefficient of friction is greater than or equal to .85. SlipNOT® products are U.L. approved.
