SlipNOT® slip resistant steel treads are utilized in the harshest environments, where oils and other viscous substances are prevalent. SlipNOT® continually retains traction when submerged in these substances, with a file hard surface hardness between 55–63 on the Rockwell “C” scale. From steel mills to automotive plants, SlipNOT® steel treads are rugged enough for the most severe conditions. SlipNOT®’s Coefficient of Friction is greater than or equal to 0.85.

SlipNOT® non-slip steel treads are custom fabricated to meet specific job requirements and necessities. SlipNOT® industrial steel treads are easily installed into existing or newly constructed stairways, instantly transforming a dangerous and unsafe stairway into a completely slip resistant and safe stairway.
SlipNOT® non-slip steel treads can easily retrofit over unsafe diamond checker plate assemblies or slippery existing stairs. SlipNOT® steel treads can be formed to specifications with nosings, risers and nosings or formed to a channel. SlipNOT® steel stairs can be welded directly to current treads and stringers or provided with countersunk holes in order to bolt into place.
SlipNOT® steel tread anti slip surface options:
- Grade 1 (Fine) – Used for light duty applications where minimal slip resistance is needed
- Grade 2 (Medium) – Generally used for every application where slip resistance is mandatory
- Grade 3 (Coarse) – Utilized for heavy duty, extreme applications where build up occurs or for traffic applications
